the state of jdf at drupa 2008

On reflection after 2 weeks of drupa it would appear that JDF has disappeared (from view) and is now incorporated in all major software releases and major new equipment for prepress, press and postpress. In other words the suppliers are ready for big time automation, now it is up to the end users to upgrade and implement.
