PBI announces First Boot Camp for Print Sales Reps
CHESTNUT HILL, MA -- November 20, 2008 -- Don’t let the economic slowdown get your printing company down. Jumpstart your sales success by educating your team about what print buyers really need and want at the first-in-the-nation Boot Camp for Print Reps from Print Buyers International (PBI).
The groundbreaking, half-day seminar will provide the inside line on the real-world questions and concerns of print buyers today. Designed specifically to educate printing sales reps, customer service reps, paper reps, even print company executives and CEOs, Boot Camp for Print Reps is the only seminar led by the expert printing and print buying powerhouses of RIT Professor Emeritus Frank Romano and PBI founder Margie Dana.
Dana, a former print buyer and renowned industry speaker, writer and researcher, is the nation’s foremost expert on building bridges between print buyers and their service providers. She is uniquely equipped to share the buyers’ perspective with printing industry representatives. Romano, author of over 45 books on printing and the graphic arts, provides practical, usable, in-depth advice culled from 30 years of study and research into print buying behaviors and trends.
“This is an unprecedented opportunity for print industry representatives to learn how to service their customers and impress their prospects by gaining an understanding of what’s happening with professional print buyers today,” says Dana. “Attendees will come away with current, relevant and practical insights for improving their customer relationships and eliminating barriers to success.”
Topics to be covered will include:
· what today’s print buyers want from printers
· how to communicate with print buyers
· what criteria your customers value most
· the seven guaranteed “client killer” behaviors
· how to network with print buyers in a social situation, and
· why price is not the issue with 99% of buyers – and what is!
As a special bonus, Romano will share what’s hot in the Digital Print Market for 2009, including an overview of print marketing and selected market segments, with special attention to:
· printing service differentiation
· how print marketing is different
· how printers should apply marketing
· growth markets for digital, and
· new tools to help printers market their services.
In addition to cutting-edge information about what’s happening in print buying today, Boot Campers will receive a FREE copy of the new Boot Camp for Print Reps Handbook, available only by attending this special half-day seminar.
The first Boot Camp for Print Reps will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2009, from 8:30 – 11:30 am at the conveniently located Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) Auditorium, Ten Winter Pl., Boston, in Downtown Crossing.
